1. WELCOME: Welcome to Sunday School! Please turn to John 14:2, while I make a few
announcements.
2. ANNOUNCEMENTS:
a) NEXT WEEK we begin our new Sunday School organization! Sunday School will begin at 8:45 a.m. with
class fellowship time. Teaching will
begin at 9:00 and classes will end no later than 10:00 a.m. As of next Sunday all worship services will
be held in our new temporary Worship Center (formerly known as Building D).
b) There are two very important meetings this afternoon for leaders in the new
Sunday School organization.

At 4:20 p.m. all Outreach Leaders, Care Group Leaders,
and Class Coordinators will meet in the auditorium for training and
orientation.

At 5:00 p.m. there is a meeting for all class Greeters, Secretaries, and
Class Coordinators. That meeting also in
the auditorium.
·
These are very important meetings to get ready for our new Sunday School
classes next Sunday.
3. OUTREACH: Outreach and ministry visitation is this afternoon 4:15 p.m. in the Auditorium.
4. FEATURE: Let’s read John 14:2, which says:
“In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.”
Before leaving this earth
Jesus made a special promise to His followers.
He said there were many dwelling places in His Father’s house. He also promised that He was going to prepare
a place for them.
How valuable is it for
you to have home? We need a home in
which to live. We need protection from
the elements, a place for our clothing, and a place in which to fellowship with
our loved ones. Those who don’t have a
place to live are called homeless.
They don’t have any place to call their own, or any place in which they
belong.
Jesus Christ has promised
Christians that they will never be homeless in eternity. He has gone to prepare a wonderful dwelling
place for us. When we leave this mortal
life we will have a new home in which to live with our Christian family and our
Lord.
In this morning’s Sunday
School lesson we will learn a little bit about our wonderful eternal home.
